JANUARY 1, 2014 HAPPY NEW YEAR

Out with the old and in with the new.  Goodbye 2013 and hello 2014....It has been raining and misting rain all day.  Good day for laying around.  Watched a cute movie.  It's a Disney movie, Frozen....  If you get a chance watch it

I have been babysitting a neighbor and friends dog and I been loving having him here...  But it has also shown me the challenges I face with not having a "couch potato" like Beulah.  My back and legs just won't let me walk very far at all.

A few friends are doing this challenge and talked me into it.  Let's see how long it lasts for me.  I made day one..  Yeah for me.  HA HA...

This is the January Photo Challenge in case anyone else wants to join in.  It will be fun, well, maybe it will be fun....

Here is my photo for January 1, 2014 -

A Goal.

I really NEED to start to drink more water.  I drink very little liquids besides coffee, and need to start working on the water, so that is what I am choosing as my goal.  No specific amounts, just drink... ha ha...

Hope you all have a Happy, Healthy, and Prosperous New Year.

My day - May 25th, 2012

What a day, what a day...  Had a doctor's appointment (yeah, what else is new ha ha) and had another right after for my shots, but the first one ran over by almost an hour so I had to cancel my shots.  You can tell I'm heartbroken over it. ha ha  I just have to remember to call and reschedule it.

Went to the new Hobby Lobby.  Today was their grand opening and I was really disappointed.  Not much in the way of yarn at all.  I think Wal-Mart has more.  It's about the same as Michael's, but much more expensive.  They had a wheel to spin for Chick-fil-a, and I won a breakfast sandwich.  Yeah.....ha ha.  They had someone there with banana muffins and Dunkin Donuts coffee.  If it's DD coffee, I am so there.  ha ha.  No cream, but with DD, I can do without it.

Then it was on to crocheting.  I worked on making baby booties.. And yeah...  I made one.  It is a preemie size and so adorable.  Needless to say, I am so proud of myself.  Waiting to see if the other one comes out the same size.  ha ha...  I know it should be relaxing,  but when I am learning something I get so tight and tense.  ha ha... While there, I got a phone call from my friend/next door neighbor and she locked her keys in her car at her work.  So I left, went home, let out Beulah, went to her house, looked for the key and found it.  She found a ride home, so I had to just take her to her back to her car.  30 miles later, I was home.  It is in the 90's and my air doesn't work in my Jeep.  Can you say, Ughhhhhh... Hotttttt.  Heat........ It felt so good to come home into the air conditioning.  Funny thing is once your in for a while it doesn't seem as cool.  Beulah is even knocked out from the heat...

Just got off the phone after a nice conversation with a friend that I was best friends with in high school.  Miles and years come together so nicely.  I am so fortunate to have made some wonderful friendships over my lifetime.  It's great re-connecting with people. I thank you all, old and new for what you have contributed to my life.

I finished Moonlight Road by Robyn Carr yesterday.  I am just blazing through her Virgin River series.

So this has been my day. All in all, it's been a good day.  It's to hot to eat.  I might just have a yogurt.

When I finish the second baby bootie I will post a picture of it.

Until next time..

Surprise Pictures ~ April 24, 2012

                                                                    Miss Beulah

                                                     Cheyanna and Cooler

                                                                   Jared and Cooler

Woke up to the sweetest little girl talking softly to me.  When I didn't move fast enough it became a louder howl.  I'm talking about my baby girl Beulah who just happens to be a beagle...

Then, I take her for her walk, my legs are buckling and I just pray they will keep me up.  I really don't feel like sitting in the middle of the road. ha ha.  Made it home and put up my coffee, gave Beulah her treats, and sat down to the computer to check my e-mail and facebook.  When I went to my e-mail, I got the best surprise.  There staring me right in the face was 4 pictures of my grandchildren.  What a wonderful morning this has been.  Beulah, Jared, and Cheyanna's big brown eyes looking right at me..  That is heaven on earth. I have the best grandbabies.  All 3 of them. I know every grandparent says that, but mine are so special and I love them like crazy.  Miss them so much.  Of course their mom and dad aren't to shabby either. ha ha.  I am so lucky and blessed to have the family I do.  Okay, before I cry lets move on..  ha ha

I have been reading like crazy.  As I have said before I found a new author and really like her style of writing.  She grabs me within the first few pages.  Robyn Carr.  I am currently reading her Virgin River series.  I started out with a few, then realized it was a series, so I am reading them in order now.  Read the first 3, put the 4th on reserve at the library, and am currently reading (as of today) Lisa Scottoline's new book "Come Home".  I love to sit outside and read.  Today will be a great day to sit out.  It is really cool. 52 degrees at 9:00 AM.  I love this cooler weather.  I know it won't last.  Perfect for a cup of coffee and a book.  It's also trash day.. Just remembered that, so I need to get it down there.  Just thought I would share that.  ha ha.  Things pop in my head and out my mouth, or in this case into words on a paper, or computer. ha ha.

It is now hot out again.  I had on my jeans and the sun is beating down so hard I had to come back in.  Oh well, time for Beulah's supper.

Until next time....................

Happy Birthday ~ Happy Anniversary Don ~ April 16, 2012

Today is a  really hard day for me.  It would have been my husband's birthday and our 27th anniversary.  I am so thankful for Donna.  She called and we are both sharing the grief of him not being here to celebrate.

Don never cared about his birthday.  He was more concerned with our anniversary.  He is the one who wanted to get married on his birthday.  He said that way he would never forget it.  And now it's me who will never forget.  I would give just about anything to have him here.  I miss him with all my heart and soul..  I don't think I will ever be complete again.  There is a part of me that will always be with him no matter what.

I know you watch over me from heaven.  If your watching right now, you see me wishing you were here to celebrate with me. I did pretty good today, but not so good tonight.  I will be alright, don't worry about me. I carry you in my heart always.

I love and miss you so much.  Between now and then till I see you again, love me.....

Another List of 10 plus more ramblings - March 11, 2012

Let's see what has been happening in my neck of the woods.  Not a whole lot.

It's bike week here and so there are a gajillion bikers out.  We have some of them in our neighborhood, and lets just say they are "loud".  Sounds like thunder.  And the roads are full of them too.  But there are some really neat bikes.  My neighbor down the road has a little itty bitty dog that weighs about 3 lbs.  She is a tiny maltese, and they have goggles for her.  They're pink.  Val has a baby carrier that she wears in front of her (like the sling), and Missy sits right in there with her little bow and goggles and the 3 of them take off riding.  It is adorable.  Then there is another guy here who has a bike with a side car that his collie Lady rides in everywhere he goes.  So you can imagine what you see during bike week in Daytona.  Beulah thinks it's thunder and so I need to try to calm her down every now and then.

I just finished reading "The House I Loved" and was disappointed in it.  I have read the author, Tatiana de Rosnay's two other books,  "A Secret Kept, and "Sarah's Key" which were excellent.  This one was set in Paris and used a lot of French words and innuendos in french that I had a hard time getting into it.  It had a good story line, but was very slow going for me.

In the meantime, back at the ranch, well not really, but I have been having the steroid shots in my back again.  2 weeks ago they worked for the first time in 2 years.  I went back again this past Friday and had more, and they are not doing the trick, and I am so disappointed.  I thought for sure that pain I felt right down to my toes on two of the 6 shots he gave me meant it was going to work.  It's not as bad, but not as good as the last time.  Oh well.  I am grateful for each moment that I am able to stand.

Just finished making a macaroni salad with tuna, hard boiled eggs, onions, celery, and kalamata olives.  Mmm Mmm Good.  The hard part is waiting for it to all cool down.  My friend Michelle loves it and so of course I made her some too.

Did a little thrifting yesterday.  Went to Hospice and got a mug to make the chocolate brownie microwave cake recipe that Steve printed out for us.  Then over to Goodwill.  I found a shirt.  Brand new, with tags, for $2.99.  It was Yellow Day, and so with that discount it cost me a whopping.....drum roll please...........$1.43.  Woo Hoo..  ha ha.  It is nice but sleeveless, so I will only wear it to sit outside when Beulah decides she wants to just bask in the sun.  My underarms are like bat wings taking off.  ha ha... I don't want to scare all the dogs and kids... ha ha.

It has been raining and it is so nice.  It is an off again on again rain and it is the misty kind with no storms attached.  No thunder or lightning, and that is my kind of rain.  This time change is messing with me though and I just realized that maybe my back is hurting more this time because of the arthritis and the rain.  Hmmm.  It's possible I suppose.

I did 3 more pages of the scrapbook of Don's chemo hats.  They are getting easier to do and look at.  I am now finding just a tiny bit of sadness attached to the pictures, but mostly I laugh at remembering him in them and what he would do and say.  So, I think that's a good thing.

February 3, 2012

Not much going happening on this Friday.  Spent the day crocheting a little bit, yakking it up with the neighbors, sitting out and reading.

I am so mad at the groomer.  I have been trying to get Beulah in for 2 weeks now.  Just to get her nails clipped.  I called last week, and got the recorder.  Kelly must have been busy.  She never called me back.  I have called 3 times this week, and she still can't do it.  I have been using her for over 12 years, and guess what???  Time for a new person.  When she can't see Beulah for 10 minutes.  Poor baby....

I'm done my rant, so until next time

Happy Birthday Jeff and Billy ? - February 1, 2012

I had to post this picture today in honor of my baby brothers birthday.  Happy Birthday Jeff..... I just feel bad that he had to work today..  He deserves all the good things (like me, his sister) life can bring him. I also think it's my son-in-law's birthday.  I hope it is because I left a message on his cell phone wishing him a Happy Birthday.  I told him if not, save it.  ha ha..  Happy Birthday Billy, I think.

Went to physical therapy again today.  I don't see any difference and in all honesty when I get out I feel good for about 15 minutes.  Then the ice pack wears off and it hurts worse than it did when I walked in there.  But I guess pain means it's doing something, although I have pain all the time.  Enough of that, we are all getting older and things break down, and move south.  ha ha...

Seems like there isn't much on tonight.  All the shows I watch are re-runs.  And shock, I don't feel like being on the computer, so I guess I will either crochet or try to read that book I started.  It was good in the beginning, but I am really having a hard time getting on with it.

Well, until next time.

Saturday January 28, 2012

Just a lazy kind of Saturday.  I went and picked up my mail today and 2 more birthday cards were there.  Keep them coming and I'll celebrate it all year.  ha ha.  I really did appreciate them.  Then off to the library to pick up my books before they returned them to shelves.  One is a crochet book (my newest obsession) and John Grisham's new book "The Litigators".  I only read a few pages and was totally hooked on it.  I have never been a fan.  I read the Firm many many moons ago, and may have read another one of his, but can't be sure.  This one grabbed me right away, and that's what I like in a book.  So I am anxious to read it.

Along with reading, I am almost done a wavy kind of scarf.  When it's done, I am going to see if my neighbor will "model" it so I can take a picture of it.  I love the way it is coming out.  And the color is so pretty.

I would like to turn my hobby into a business if at all possible.  Living on my disability gets really hard sometimes, and a little extra money would be welcomed.

My brain goes so much faster than my hands,  ha ha. I always have good intentions, but sometimes have a hard time doing something with them. ha ha.

I got this from another blog and really wanted to put it on here so I could refer back to it.  This is from Crochet with Raymond
http://crochethealingandraymond.wordpress.com/2012/01/25/the-third-wheel/  For me, this is great. You might want to check out his blog.  He does wonderful work.

Total Waste Of Makeup Day ~ January 25, 2012

It is such a pain to have to wait for an appointment.  Well, if you are sick and you call, and they can't take you, that's an even worse pain, but I'm talking about waiting around until your appointment time..  Why is that?  I never want to do anything except get my shower and have my coffee.  Not that I do much more than that on any given day, but it cuts into my play time...  HA HA.  Torture today, I mean physical therapy.  I have no idea why I am even doing this.  The therapist (physical one, not the shrink one) says it won't help with my back.  Nothing will except surgery, and I am not into that idea at all.  So, it's therapy and back shots.. Which reminds me.  That's another thing to wait for.  Your up, and you know there is someone in the doctor's office, but they won't answer the phones until exactly 9:00.  Seems like we wait a lot.
Therapy went okay, if pain is any indication.  ha ha.  She gave me some exercises to do in the pool also.  It felt soooo good when she put the ice pack on my back.  It took a while to find the right spot for the tingly wirey things she attached to my back.  She turned it up so high I thought I was levitating off the table.  Looked around and did not see David Copperfield.....ha ha.. Once I recovered from that, it was much better.  My back stayed frozen for a little while and it felt so good.  Now to find a way to strap some ice cold packs to my back 24/7.  ha ha
So, as you can see, it was a total waste of makeup kinda day..  Nothing but torture...ha ha, and I am not wearing lipstick to that.  ha ha.

Until next time..........................

Top 10 sites I want to see in the US ~ January 20, 2012

Happy Friday.... For me it's just another day of the week, but for many of you it's the end of a work week, so Yeah.....

I had to miss my first widow's group meeting today : (   I went to Sonny's with Lucille.  I feel so bad for her.  Here I am talking about her like you know her.  ha ha.  I had the salad bar, bbq pork (sliced) sandwich on garlic bread, baked potato and sweet tea.  Great for my sugar levels.  Oh well....

Here is my list for today

Top 10 sites I want to see in the US

1. The aurora borealis in Alaska

2. The icebergs in Alaska

3. The Coyotte Butttes Wave in Arizona/Utah

4. The Cable Cars in San Francisco

5. Pike Place Market in Seattle, Washington

6. The Water Tower Coffee Pot in Stanton Iowa

7. The Grand Ole Opry in Nashville Tennessee

8. Branson Missouri

9. TeePee Motel in Wharton Texas

10. The Southern Most Point in Key West Florida

I really do hope you leave your list here too.  I should be getting my things together for the crop tomorrow.  Have a card I need to make, and I never have everything I need.  That's how it is trying to bring things to the crop, especially for a scatterbrain like myself.  ha ha.  I do much better in my own chaos at home.  ha ha.

Here it is 6:30 and I just had to turn on my air.  It's cool outside, but so hot in here.  Just enough to knock the heat out.  ha ha.

Well, that's it for now.  Have a great night and a wonderful weekend.  Until next time.

LISTS ~ 10 Restaurants ~ January 19, 2012

I was thinking, (dangerous I know), but I decided to try to 100 questions and answers.  Doing 10 at a time on a subject.  Join me and let me know yours too.

Thought I would start out with:

10 Restaurants

1. Sonny's bbq. - Love their barbecued pork.  Mmm Mmm Good, and they have wonderful sweet tea.  Don loved Sonny's too.

2. Olive Garden - Love their soup and salad - The salad is so crisp and with the croutons, and black olives, it's killer.  I like their potato gnocchi soup too. The bread is good.

3. Publix - Okay, technically it's not a restaurant, it's a grocery store, but they have the BEST hoagies (subs).  And I prefer a sandwich to a meal.

4. Creative Arts Cafe - They have down home cooking and the best Reubens.

5. Applebees - Not so much the food, as the soup.  They have the best Onion Soup.  Not on the menu, but if you ask for it they have it.  Also their margaritas are pretty darn good.

6. LaSpada's - Hands down the best Cheesesteak this side of Philly...

7. Cracker Barrel - Love their dumplings, and the gift shop isn't too shabby either.

8.  Dunkin Donuts - Just for a great cup of coffee

9. Red Lobster - crab legs, shrimp, and the cheddar biscuits.

10. Genuines - I love their Calle Ocho pulled pork..

This was harder than I thought it would be because I don't go to eat at fancy shamcy places. I prefer a good home cooked meal (by someone else) ha ha.  Brisket with bow ties and kasha, turkey and stuffing, spaghetti, that kind of food..  ha ha

Had yet another doctor's appointment, and I'm not crazy.  ha ha..Just lots of pain.  Then it was off to my crocheting.  I am so grateful to Marivel for "picking me up" at Wally World.  What can I say, I was a cheap date. I was glad to see Rebecca came too. Started to work on the cat that Steve and Debra came up with.

Trying to set up some mini goals, which for some are second nature, but for me, they are hurdles.  The first one I did was go out to eat alone.  That was tough, but not as bad as I thought.  No panic attack.  ha ha.. I have my next one in my mind, but don't want to put it from pen to paper (in this case ink to paper - sort of the same thing, pen-ink- yup, the same) until I accomplish it.

Well, I have tortured you all enough.  Please include your list of favorites.  I would love to see them.  Remember, I am going to be doing this list of list thing so please participate.

Reality Setting In ~ January 18, 2012

Sorry I am not myself today.  This picture reminds me of me today.  Pensive and deep in thought.  Sad, and thinking, thinking, thinking. Good things happened, but so did reality,

It is just beginning to hit me how bad my back really is, and that the major surgery they want to do, is probably inevitable.  I went to physical therapy and they said whatever they may be able to do, won't do anything other than MAYBE help strengthen some muscles so that when I have the surgery it will make it easier on the rehab part.  The doctor wanted me to go 3 times a week but the physical therapist said only 2 times a week.  3 times would be to much on my back.  Also she wants me to use a cane.  Not happening.  I think that's when it hit me.  I am in a funk about it all.  I worry about the rehab part, will I make it through surgery, and Beulah... My baby.  (Big Sigh) It's times like this when I really miss my husband.  I believe he is watching over me, but still, wish he was here in person. I sure could use one of his hugs right about now.

On the up side, I got a laptop.  The WIFI signal here is so bad, I will need to get something and then something else.  ha ha.  You can see how much I know.  Thank goodness for brothers, well especially mine.  At times, I would be lost without him.

Going to go and read and who knows........Good shows on tonight.  The Middle, Modern Family, and Revenge.  Maybe that will take my mind off of things.

Till next time....................................

Hooking and Pattern and Joke ~ January 17, 2012

Well, here it is Tuesday, January 17, 2012 and lo and behold, no doctor appointment.  Yeah  ! ! !  I had a good time with my fellow Happy Hookers.  This picture is how many it takes for me to make something.  Lots of help.  ha ha.. Still can't get that pom pom cat, but I will.  Made a new scrunchie, and I really liked it.

Scrunchie 2

1. Single Crochet around rubber band (40-50)
2. Use only back stitch, chain 5 and single crochet in the back all the way around
3. Use only front stitch, chain 5 and single crochet in front loop all around.

I really like this one better.  It seems to be much lighter.  I will get the pom pom cat done at some point.  After seeing how it should be done, compared to what I did (yup...a first grader would have done better) I have some practice in my future.  ha ha..

Tomorrow I go to physical therapy.  Oh joy... ha ha....I am just Mary Sunshine aren't I.  And I am already dreading the shots in my back on Friday.... I mean really dreading it.

Moaning ~ Morning - Oh What A Day Jan 13, 2012

Today was an interesting day. First, It's Friday the 13th. Not sure if that is a good day or not, but so far it's been an okay day. My old boss, my favorite boss of all time, Mr. Stone, always told me that it was the luckiest day of his life as he was born on a Friday the 13th and he had been lucky ever since. He was an awesome man and boss. Who else lets you call in well because you want to go to the beach and not lie to them. ha ha. RIP Mr. Stone.

Had my appointment with the Pain Management Doctor today, and he wants me to go back to the shots in my back again. I did not like them then, and don't want them now, but I will NOT let them do surgery on my back, so I will have to go through this again and pray that it will help a little. It didn't last time. The only thing it did was give me all the bad side effects. Insomnia (up 3 days straight with NO sleep, red face, blood sugar way way high, and more. Next week is full of appointments with doctors and physical therapist. Have plans for lunch with a friend in there, and crochet group on Tuesday and Thursday. I am just a social butterfly... Okay. so doctor's make it onto that list, but lets face it, I see them more than anyone else. ha ha.

I got to thinking. And for me that's dangerous. Did you ever stop to think that if you just changed one letter in moAning it would be moRning. And that's one reason (in my mind) that we're moaning about getting up so early in the morning.

Nothing good on TV that I can think of, so it's reading and crocheting for me. Temps are getting cooler and will turn cold during the night, which means I will wake up with "crispy hair"....ha ha.

So,can you guess where I was today? If you guessed Popeye's you would be wrong. ha ha. I was at my crocheting group at Half Off Books. I love that place and the group of gals and guys are wonderful. I really am learning. I was so glad that my friend Pat decided to come today. I sensed she really enjoyed herself... Hey Pat. It's Yolanda.... ha ha That is if you even read this. ha ha

Below is the hat I crocheted for my brother to match the scarf I made him.

I look like a convict that just went into a gas station bathroom, colored my hair, stuck on a hat and took a picture to make sure no one would recognize me. ha ha... I have no idea what those marks are. Oh wait. I think it was that pen thing when I tried to resize the picture.

As you can see, I am really enjoying my latest endeavor, and will be able to cross that off my bucket list. My list is more on the practical side. Next need to get a coloring book so I can color every page. Don't ask. ha ha. Just as a kid I only colored the ones I liked. Now I want to do all of them, even if I don't want to. ha ha...

That's it for today. Until the next time.....

Memories - January 8, 2012

Well, Happy Sunday,

It's been a typical Sunday here in my neck of the woods. Playing on the computer and facebook, reading, and eating. Hey... that rhymed. ha ha.

Still reading the same book. I should be done it tonight or tomorrow. My mind has not been on it much at all. I read about 15 minutes and then I'm on to something else. Beulah has been so lovey dovey. She must know I will be gone the better part of tomorrow. I did go to the library and the grocery store for a few little things. Got 2 more reading books and a "Crocheting for Dummies" book. Even those dummy books I have trouble with sometimes. ha ha.... But I won't know until I look at it..... It got really warm out there, and I couldn't get my window open, so I put on the air conditioner and it feels so good.. I do better in cool than hot.

When I was going through my computer files, I came across this graphic, and it's funny because I have the perfect poem to go along with it, and the perfect true story.

I remember all of these . It seems like it was such a simpler life back then. But when you think about it, just the phones were a pain. We had a party line at one time, and people would listen in on your conversation. When I graduated high school I worked at J.C. Penney's in downtown Philly. It was the regional credit office for the eastern seaboard. They made the HUGE mistake of sending me to school to train as a relief switch board operator. When the regular girl would go on break or lunch, I was often called to take over. Well, take over I did. All those wires with plugs. I would listen in on conversations to see if they were done, and when I got so frustrated because of all the people on hold, I would just pull out ALL the plugs, and then apologize for them being disconnected when they called back. ha ha. This happened A LOT

I WANT TO GO BACK TO THE TIME WHEN

Decisions were made by going "eeny-meeny-miney-mo."

Mistakes were corrected by simply exclaiming "do over!"

"Race issues" meant arguing about who ran the fastest.

Money issues were handled by whoever was the banker in "Monopoly."

Catching the fireflies could happily occupy an entire evening.

It wasn't odd to have two or three "best" friends.

Being old referred to anyone over 20.

The net on a tennis court was the perfect height to play volleyball and rules didn't matter.

The worst thing you could catch from the opposite sex was "cooties".

It was magic when dad would "remove" his thumb.

It was unbelievable that dodge ball wasn't an Olympic event.

Having a weapon in school meant being caught with a slingshot.

Nobody was prettier than Mom.

Scrapes and bruises were kissed and made better.

It was a big deal to finally be tall enough to ride the "big people" rides at the amusement park.

A foot of snow was a dream come true.

Abilities were discovered because of a "double-dog-dare."

Saturday morning cartoons weren't 30-minute ads for action figures.

No shopping trip was complete unless a new toy was brought home.

Spinning around, getting dizzy, and falling down was cause for giggles.

The worst embarrassment was being picked last for a team.

War was a card game.

Water balloons were the ultimate weapon.

Baseball cards in the spokes transformed any bike into a motorcycle.

Taking drugs meant orange-flavored chewable aspirin.

Ice cream was considered a basic food group.

Older siblings were the worst tormentors, but also the fiercest protectors.

If you can remember most or all of these, then you have had a great life.

Well, that's it for now... Until the next time.

January 5, 2012 ~ Save The Planet

I love this, and it's funny that I should decide to write about it today.

While at my crocheting group, we were talking about M & M's. I know about the plain, the peanuts, the pretzels, and the coconut ones, but DID NOT know about the ones that tasted like a chocolate covered cherry. So that is my mission.. To find them.. I know, I know. I tend to get headaches from eating chocolate, but I do it anyway. Sometimes I am fine, and other times, I get a migraine. Don't want one of them, but then again I'm thinking that for a chocolate covered M&M I'll risk it. HA HA. I owe this new mission to one of my crochet ladies who is quickly becoming my friend. This is all your fault Debra. ha ha....

Well, I became pom-pomed out today. I think it is going to be a whole lot more than the directions called for. I will have to go back and see if I can find the same color yarns that I am using. Keep your fingers crossed. I need to go to Wally World anyway to get Beulah's food. I can't believe that it is over $1.00 cheaper at Wally World than it is at Publix or even Winn Dixie. You would think they would all be about the same price. She needs her treats too. Note to self~Write this down..O.K. had to take a minute to write it down. I am like a chicken without a head at times. See, I even forgot to write down yarn...Done now..

I am reading a mindless mystery book called A Pizza to Die For by Chris Cavender. It's got a lot of humor in it, and reminds me of Janet Evanovitch's Stephanie Plum series, only not as good, but the humor mixed in with the "mystery"

Debating about going to another crocheting group tomorrow. This is one that is just held the first Friday of the month. It's also at the library and I do need to pick up a book that's in and return some that I took out just to flip through. I will have to think about it. That would be 3 this week with scrapbooking on Saturday. After I go back to pain management next week and physical therapy 3 times a week, my days will be packed, and Beulah will not be a happy camper. Oh no she won't. She is so spoiled and wants me by her at all times....

Well that's enough of my blabbing for today. I will leave you with some cute little chocolate quotes....

My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what I start. So far today, I have finished 2 bags of M&M's and a chocolate cake. I feel better already.
