Today is Sunday.  Knowing that I am ahead of the game.  HA HA.  I never know what day it is.  When I worked it was so different, but that was many moons ago, and getting older sure hasn’t helped.  If it weren’t for my watching my favorite tv shows, I wouldn’t know what day it was.  HA HA.  Tonight Revenge is back on and Emily doesn’t remember who she is.  It should be a good one.  And I am so glad that Hallmark Channel stopped showing the Christmas movies.  They were all shown over and over and over and over and then over again…  I need to relax and watch Frasier and Golden Girls at 11 PM.  Ha ha….  See, it really doesn’t take much to make me happy…..

Saw a really good movie today.  Last Vegas with Michael Douglas, Morgan Freeman, Robert De Niro, just to name a few.  See it if you can. 

Having leftover chili that I made yesterday.  It was really good.  So good that at about 1AM this morning I went and got some.  If they didn’t want you eating at night they wouldn’t have a light bulb in the refrigerator so you could see in there.

Today’s January Photo Challenge was Fresh…  I chose my fresh pot of coffee..  There is nothing like a fresh pot or the first cup..  

Started out cool this morning but it’s nice out.  I am so tired though.  I could not sleep again.  What else is new….  I didn’t fall asleep until after 3AM and had to take more heartburn medication.  Then I got up early and still have not recovered.

I have a pot of Chili going…  No beans.  I do not like beans, so I didn’t put them in.  If anyone wants some they will have to add their own…..HA Ha.  It is smelling so good in here…Will make rice and that’s supper…plenty of leftovers.  It’s always better the next day, just like lasagna or soup.  Always better the next day… 

My face hurts.  I can hear it now..  Yeah well, it’s killing me…  It just feels so dry or something.  I always get the weirdest things happen to me…  Again with the snickers from the peanut gallery..  Ha ha.. 

I’m going to miss Wilton when he goes home.  It’s been 10 days.  Isn’t there a rule that says possession is 9/10ths of the law.  Ha ha…  He misses his mom and the walks she takes him on.  He has been such a good little boy for me.. Since my back and leg problems prevent me from walking or standing long, he has been a little trooper..  He is not a couch potato when it comes to walking…  I feel bad for him.  He loves to sleep in my bed and doesn’t move..  I haven’t ever seen anything like it.  Gotta go stir the Chili.  Be right back…. Well right back is an understatement.  It’s almost 9:30 and Mr. Willie just went home.  He was so  happy to see his momma....

January 3rd photo challenge - Relax

I am babysitting Willie for a neighbor and he is adorable.  He loves to sleep in my bed.  He has taken over the bed, the sheets, the covers, and the pillow..  Next I wonder if he’ll try out my bi-pap machine.  Ha ha……  He does like to relax and chill.  More like chillaxin…. Ha ha..

It was dang cold this morning.  In the 30’s.  Went to the 40’s this afternoon and it was cool but nice.  Didn’t do much today.  Went to pick up my prescriptions,  then to Publix for a turkey sub and stuff to make chili, and other things.  Put gas in my car and it was shocked.  Ha ha…..  I was afraid to put to much in it.  Didn’t want it to go into cardiac arrest and quit on me…  Ha Ha.

Finished reading my book,  “More Than You Know” by Nan Parson Rossiter.  It was a really good book.  Also, saw the movie “Saving Mr Banks”.  If you get a chance, go see this one.  It was fantabulous… Tom Hanks can not play a bad part….  He plays Walt Disney in this movie and is trying to buy the book rights to Mary Poppins to make it into a movie.  It was so good.  You have to see it..

JANUARY 1, 2014 HAPPY NEW YEAR

Out with the old and in with the new.  Goodbye 2013 and hello 2014....It has been raining and misting rain all day.  Good day for laying around.  Watched a cute movie.  It's a Disney movie, Frozen....  If you get a chance watch it   

I have been babysitting a neighbor and friends dog and I been loving having him here...  But it has also shown me the challenges I face with not having a "couch potato" like Beulah.  My back and legs just won't let me walk very far at all. 

A few friends are doing this challenge and talked me into it.  Let's see how long it lasts for me.  I made day one..  Yeah for me.  HA HA...

A Goal.

 

I really NEED to start to drink more water.  I drink very little liquids besides coffee, and need to start working on the water, so that is what I am choosing as my goal.  No specific amounts, just drink... ha ha...
